Excuse pas forcément pourrie, il m’est arrivé d’être sur des lieux où aucune carte postale n’était vendue. (et cela m’arrange, j’ai horreur d’en envoyer

Aux USA la mode n’es pas du tout aux cartes postales.
Il n’est pas possible d’en trouver de partout.
De plus, avec la poste américaine, il faut mettre la carte postale dans une enveloppe pour qu’elle arrive en vitesse normale. Sinon compter 2 ou 3 jours de plus.
La cause, le tri, et la position de l’adresse sur la carte.
Donc pas nulle comme excuse, mais une lettre est souvent plus intéressante.

Je confirme, ne pas trouver de carte postale ne veut pas forcément dire « endroit paumé ». J’ai vécu en Chine pendant presque un an, et même si l’envoi de cartes postales n’est pas inconnu, ce n’est vraiment pas dans leur culture. Et pour trouver des cartes postales comme on en trouve partout en France, c’est vraiment difficile ! Il faut aller sur les sites vraiment touristiques où ils vendent des pochettes de cartes postales, mais c’est plus des cartes à garder pour toi, en souvenir.
Cependant, je ne cherche pas à défendre cette jeune fille qui pour le coup à l’air d’utiliser cet argument comme une excuse à : sa flemme d’envoyer des cartes / son mensonge d’être aux USA …
